Waivers will be provided at check-in. Fee should be paid with registration. If you are a USARA member, you must bring your annual membership card to packet pick-up or you will be required to purchase a one day event license. **Support crews not necessary.
Approximate Distance: 5 miles on foot, 12 miles on bike & 4 miles in canoe
Combo Race: Basic map skills & plotting *Racers will need a compass.*
Boat Requirements: Teams are required to paddle canoes. Individual participants may bring their choice of vessel. Need a boat? A limited number of rental canoes are available for $35, including life jackets and paddles for all members.
Bike Requirements: All team members must bring a bike. Mountain bikes highly recommended.
Mystery events, team challenges & trivia will add spice to the event. The emphasis will be on teamwork rather than strength.
Checkpoints will be located along the course. To complete the race without penalty points, all checkpoints must be gathered.
Awards: Awards will be given to the top three Male, Female and Coed teams with the lowest times after factoring in penalties for missed checkpoints and bonuses for correct trivia answers.
Refunds/Transfers: 50% refund before 8/30. Can transfer registration for a $20 fee until 9/5. No refunds after 9/5.
All participants will receive a tech t-shirt & additional SWAG.
